Heyyy, Folks...

Grapevine revisited, and a tad of history. This was our third year at the Grapevine, TX, show. We missed the first show in Grapevine in Feb,1997. Our daughter, Cecilia (since coming to work for us in Sept, now Cevo :}>), and her two kids (our grandkids) were getting married that weekend, so we had to get our priorities straight.

Hmmmm, our first show in Texas (our 5th show ever!) or our daughter's wedding. Decisions, decisions... We did get our priorities straight (yes, indeedy, we did!) and were here in Ocala, FL, that weekend for the wedding. :}>

February, 1998 ... We made it to that show. And... brought 30 of our first EvoTemplates to it... a set of 7 Rectangles. We sold 14 sets. We brought home 16 sets. Evo said to self ... "OK, Evo, maybe a good idea, but maybe not."

Then... the 14 stampers that bought the 14 sets started talking. You actually took your templates home and used them! :{<> And you talked some more. I owe you and the stampers that bought the Rectangles, after you talked, more than I can ever repay.

February, 1999. We went back to Grapevine. The show was about the same in sales for us... a tad more than 1998... we were happy. And, our EvoTemplates had expanded ... thanks to users and talkers, we sold many more than 14 and had more shapes to offer.

February, 2000. We arrived home late last night. I cannot even begin to offer my thanks to you stampers who were there. You exceeded all our expectations for this show. You, my friends, broke our records for any show we have yet attended, and we do a lot of shows, now. And, EvoTemplates were on the top of your list for our booth. We now have 13 different sets all because of the 14 stampers that bought the original ones in 1998.

Whut? Evo emotional? Naw... really...the spots you see on this email is sweat, lol... it's warm in Florida! We sweat a lot!

I can't even begin to name the old-friend stampers we saw in Grapevine or the "new" ones we met this year. Some of the "new" ones were stampers we've known on the internet for several years and just had the privilege of meeting face to face, for the first time. Some of you were really new! I mean, out of the blue new! And we loved seeing every one of you.

I want to thank our wonderful helpers for being there for us to set up, package "stuff" Friday for the show, help in our booth Saturday and Sunday, and help us pack up and get to and from the airport (you know who you are! Mega hugs!)

We met for dinner with stampers on Friday night at Jason's. It was wonderful! :}> Missed the dinner get-together at TIA's on Saturday night, not because we wanted to, but... Mr Evo can't handle the spices in Mexican food, so we had to bow out, and - woe-is-me - he was hungry. He missed lunch because we were sooooo busy. Feel free to tell us, "We told you so", 'cause we had to wait over an hour at the restaurant we ate at near the hotel, while I understand all of you were served instantly. Way to go!

Hey. We love you guys. In the south, we say y'all" as in, " We love you all". Thank you for being at Grapevine.
