Evo's Show/People Report
The Milwaukee Rubber Stamp and ScrapBook Expo
Milwaukee, WI
Nov 15 & 16, 2003

Heyyyyy, Folks...

Do I have a treat for you!
A short report plus a smile or two!
Our flight to Milwaukee went smooth ... smooth as can be.
That is, until Mr Evo gathered our carry-ons and boarding passes in Cincinnati and boarded without me! :{<>

But not to worry, the agent let me show my ID, it's true...
And said, "Welcome aboard, Ellen, Mr Gordon is waiting for you!"
And just before the doors closed for take-off, I heard a flight attendant say, "Mrs Gordon ... where is she?"
And I waved joyfully from my seat and said, "I'm here! Yes! This is me!"

The doors closed, and the plane taxied out and took off. And when our plane arrived in Milwaukee, the pilot opened the door to the cockpit, looked out and said ... "Are we here?" (Have I told you lately that I love the humor of pilots?)

The truly neat part of this "plane" story is that as Mr Evo and I de-planed in Milwaukee, the flight attendant called each of us by name ... "Ba-Bye, Mr Gordon" ... "Ba-Bye, Mrs Gordon". I was impressed for real and assured the pilot, as we left the plane, that we were all, indeed, "here".

Thanks to Melinda Mourning and Kerri-Ellen for all of your help at the show! You both were wonderful!

And it was sooooo good to see JenMist (with your wonderful candy!) and Patty (with your lovely smile!) and Carol (with Wisconsin cheese!) and Lana (reminding me of sunrises and sunsets and lunar eclipses) and all of you who visited our booth and made our show soooo worthwhile.

Next April for RubberStamp Expo? No more fairgrounds. Look for the show at the Sheraton near the airport. With free parking! :}> And look for Mr Evo and me, too. We plan to be there and are already looking forward to seeing you there, too.

Ellen :}> Evo

a friendly Florida wave to you evo@pobox.com
