Heyyyy, folks... Arrived home Monday night to muggy Fla and a thunderstorm. Loved being in Manchester! Perfect weather (well, while we were there, anyway) ... a neat little town with a beautiful and very-active-in-the-arts central park.

The show was small... 14 Vendors ... which meant LOTS of room for booths. This was the first show in our history of show-going that all four sides of our booth was accessible to stampers. Sooooo neat! Got a little spoiled in that respect, folks.

I did almost non-stop demoing of the EvoTemplates and even created a card! :{<> Was kind of by accident... I did some layers with the basic rectangles and a couple of betweenies and laid it aside. Then was showing Rub Ons on black paper... cut out a small rectangle... and when I put it aside, it landed on the layers, and I went "Whoa! That looks good!" Added 3 Rub On & stamped seashells and patted myself on the back. Soooo cool ... wish I could say I planned it that way from the first, but not.

One of the things I love about demoing was once again apparent this week-end. Quite a few of you remarked that you own Rub Ons but have never used them! :{<> Some of you have even had them for a year or more. You said you simply didn't know what to do with them, but now you do! I love when that happens. And thanks for telling me ... makes me feel good all over that I may have helped you pull out your Rub Ons from the "collection only" file.

We had super help, otherwise I couldn't have played. Orchids to Maryann and Stacey and Jamie... and Nicole! Nicole is Maryann's daughter, and she was super. She hung in with us Friday helping us set up, and Saturday and even half of Sunday when she and Maryann were supposed to just shop and play. Well, I did have to tease her a tad to get rid of the "lower lip thingy" on Sunday morning. ;}>

Oh. And a plate glass door came off it's hinges at the Holiday Inn, but I swear I wasn't near it! I had been a few minutes before but left in the nick of time. Someone hit the door with a cart according to Mr Evo, so he can attest that I had Nothing To Do With A Door Coming Off A Hotel this time, folks. :}>

If you're ever in Manchester, there are 4 places we would recommend for eating: (I'm sure there are lots more, but these were the ones we hit.)

The Shogun (a Japanese restaurant) just a hop, skip and a jump up Hwy 3... well, that is if you know where you're going. Following Mr Evo's directions ... it was a leap, numerous U'ies and excellent directions from a guy barbequeing behind his apartment that got us there Friday night.

Saturday night we were too tuckered out to even get into the car, so we walked down Elm Street to the Black Brimmer. Excellent choice. Wonderful. And hard to get lost on foot.

Then... feet too tuckered to walk, we drove to the Black Brimmer only to find it's closed on Sundays. Drove around and found a Greek-American Restaurant. Best Greek salad and pork chop we've ever put into our mouths. And, just across the street from the Holiday Inn where we were staying. Felt a tad foolish driving back ... but hey... hard to get lost with your hotel in sight. ;}>

Then... the Merrimack Cafe just a block or so from the hotel. Fantastic breakfast but no grits. :{( Now beans for breakfast they had. Er, um... baked beans for breakfast???????? :{0 And you guys laugh at grits! Go figure.

Thanks, New England, for once again making us feel welcome! We love that part of the US... just toooo cold in the winter time for Mr Evo, though. But then, he says Atlanta is too cold in the winter time too. :{/

Soooo, we're now pushing to get away early tomorrow morning to Portland, OR, for the show there this weekend. If you need info on this show, go to: http://www.evolving-images.com/portland. htm Hotel, vendor list, directions and other good info there for you. Rumors are that it may be wet and cool, but, heyyyyyy ... I like it that way! And Mr Evo has pulled out his jacket, so he'll be ok, too.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of you there!
