Heyyyyy, Folks...
Finally catching up after all 3 of us being gone to the show for four days.
What happened in Pennsauken?
It snowed on Thursday night and Friday! That's what! 8 to 10 inches! It started around 9:00 Thursday night, and I jokingly suggested to Cevo we really, really should do a bare-foot run in the snow. Being from Florida, we tend to lean toward barefoot, don'tcha know.
At 11:30 pm, Cevo said ... "Mom, if we're gonna do it, we should do it now." (At that time there was only about an inch or two on the ground). Sooooooo, run we did! We invited Mr Evo to join, but his snores were apparently louder than our invitation ... 'cause he missed the whole thing!
And... I learned something about Cevo that I never, never knew before. Cevo cheats when running barefoot in the snow, yes she does. I led the run ... she followed. I suspected nothing until we did a "U-ie" and ran back to our room. That's when I saw my "full-footed-bare-foot prints" and her "tip-toeing prints"! Five toes each foot was all the snow ever saw of Cevo's feet. :{/ Minutes later we were in the bathroom soaking our feet in a bathtub of hot water ... sooooo good.
I have to hand it to you stampers in the NE ... you're tough! It snowed but you came anyway! Classes were filled on Friday and you were there Saturday and Sunday, too. I've since heard from quite a few of you that wanted to be there but were either snowed in with your driveway or had kids home from school or "all of the above" and ... it's ok ... we know you really wanted to be there and did indeed miss you.
And ... the rumors that there will be no more Heirloom show in Pennsauken? It's true, folks, but there will indeed be another show next year in Allentown, PA. No, I don't have the details yet but will let you know as soon as I do. Those of you who remember the first shows know they were originally in Fort Washington, PA. And many of you have been there for each and every show since then. Wherever next year's show will be? You can be assured it will still be a good one.
Mega thanks to Mary Ann, Trish and Jack for your help at the show! You almost single-handed set up our booth for this show while I was giving my class, Mr Evo lollied around in his favorite way, and Cevo apparently socialized with new-found internet stamping friends. And Dee??? Thanks for your offer to help! We could have used your help big-time breaking down Sunday after the show, but I couldn't find you again to tell you that Saturday.
Our trip home to Florida went smoothly if you ignore the fact that Mr Evo left my jacket on the plane from Philly to Atlanta and also managed somehow to lose his driver's license for identification on the flight from Atlanta to Tampa. I figure his license is lying next to my jacket, so we're even. ;}>
I took a few pictures of this convention and would LUV to share them with you. My original plan was to photograph all the booth demos, but I didn't get anywhere close to doing that ... sorry. :{/ To me, demos are one of the most exciting aspects of attending a show. I hope you enjoy seeing the ones I did get photographs of:

And... if you were a stamper at the show? Check out the pics for a special surprise.
Our hats are off to all of you who made it to the show ... both stampers and vendors. Major effort was made by all. You deserve a standing ovation, and that's what you're getting from Mr Evo, Cevo and myself right this moment.
(((((((((clap, clap, clap, clap))))))))) And bravo!
