Heyyyyyyy, Folks...
We drove to Richmond and what a wonderful trip!
Took it easy traveling, caring not a flip
Whether we made good time or not.
This is the time of year that we love the most!
Trees changing colors and Nature, our Host,
Painted the leaves with hues nice & hot.
As we traveled from Florida and the air grew colder,
And the foliage got warmer and the colors grew bolder...
Mr Evo and I both liked that a lot!
He's New Jersey bred and should love the cold
But warmth is where he's at now (and if I can be so bold
As to say) ... "With my hot flashes ... I am not!" :{<>
Sooooo... the trip was good for us both ... hot & wonderful leaf colors for
Mr Evo... cooler weather for me. The best of both worlds. This marriage
may last after all. ;}>
The Richmond Show ...
Did I get to see other booths and products to report to you? No, I didn't.
:{/
Did I get to see and talk with stampers? Yes, I did. :}>
And, I guess meeting other stampers and the experience of traveling to a
show and being at a show is what this report is all about. Folks, if you
haven't done that yet, you gotta. The thrill of meeting someone you know
and enjoy "on-line" opens a whole new dimension of friendship and
appreciation of that other person. Mr Evo and I have experienced this
sooooooo many times, and I want each of you to experience that also. If I
had my " stamping druthers", that is what I would "druther" for each of you
within the next year, side by side with peace and prosperity.
Richmond was a good show for us. You came, you saw, you apparently liked
what you saw, and Mr Evo and I thank you for that. And we thank all of you
who let us get to know you for the first time, and we thank all of you
that we've met before who jogged our memories with your names and faces.
We need that, you know. As we get older plus doing myriad shows, our
"instant-recall" seems to get shorter. Thank you for realizing that and
making it easy for us.
Mega thanks to Kristina and Bill E who drove from Hampton to help us with
set-up Friday and in our booth on Saturday. Heyyyyyy, you two... without
you we couldn't have had the show we did. We love you both and bless the
day we found you "on-line" wayyyyyyyyy back in ... what?... 1996?? Do
"on-line" friendships really last that long????
'Nuf said. Go to a show, folks ... meet your friends and treasure the
experience. You'll be glad you did.
And, for a peek at the show Richmond's foliage put on for us... go to:
Fantastic Fall Foliage
and enjoy.
