Whadda Trip
Whadda trip!
Pics are of our trip to Vancouver Island after the Puyallup Show... we bought new batteries for our camera! :}> Wish we had had them for the show. :{/
New Batteries! Now we can take pics. Thanks, Mr Evo! :}>

Mr Evo sez: "I wanna go fishin."
Bonnie with new baby Cleo

5 Year old Nikki is in background. I'm soooooo sorry we didn't get a pic of 13 year old Ebony. :{/
Bonnie... A Canadian Beauty amid her Oriental Poppy Beauties

What Mr Evo and I observed... Flowers and trees and shrubs grow bigger than life in the NW US and on Vancouver Island.
Lyle and his beautiful driftwood sculptures

Funny thing about Lyle and his wonderful carved driftwood sculptures... Bonnie saw a class being offered in carving and thought it would be sooo neat to do that! However, with her interest in rubber stamping, ceramics and other crafts, she knew she really, really didn't have time for another love. Sooooooo, she signed Lyle up for the class. Lyle was NOT a happy camper when he found out, but he went to the class, fell in love with the craft and has been creating these works of art for several years now.
Bonnie & I in our Tilley Hats!

Inside the hat it sez...
"It floats, ties on, repels rain and mildew, won't shrink and will be replaced FREE if it wears out. (YES, PUT IT IN YOUR WILL) Ten-ounce USA-Treated Cotton Duck, Solid British Brass Hardware. Sewn with Canadian persnicketiness." Now I ask you, Folks... Is this a HAT worth having or what!
Mr Evo went fishing!

I'm showing you the size of the one that got away. Mr Evo is showing you how big the "thing" he actually caught was.
His "Catch"

No, we truly don't know what "his catch" was, but we threw it back into the water to let it grow anyway.
Pat and Bob... Mr Evo's Heroes!

Yep, they took him fishing and let me go along for the ride. :}>
A mural at the Capitol... beautiful!

And so was Vancouver Island and our friends Bonnie and Lyle.
Rubber Marbles at 117 Main Street, Auburn, WA

A happy stamper on the left, Michelle on the right. If you're ever in that neck of the woods, be sure to stop by! Friendliness abounds.
Mr Evo leaving Rubber Marbles

Which means our adventure is about to end. :{/
Goodbye, NW, for now.

But... we WILL be back! :}>
