Evo's Perfect Layering Tool

The Perfect Layering Tool is for perfectly placing pre-cut layers on your work,
eliminating the errors of "eye-balling" the placement.
I made the following card several years ago to show Perfect Layering with our Set/7 Rectangles and
Set/6 Rectangle/Betweenies EvoTemplates. I "eye-balled" the placement, and as you can
see ... while the layers themselves are cut perfectly, the "layer placement" is not perfect! :{<>

Sooooooooo, Let's Make a Perfect Layered Card

Plop an Evo Mum in the center. Voila. A perfectly layered card.
Each etched line of the tool represents 1/8". Place The Perfect Layering Tool
at one corner of your work, lining up one of the etched lines with two sides of your work.
For example, if you have cut your layer to leave a 1/8" border around all sides,
line up the first etched line with two edges of your work, and place your layer inside
the open angle, making sure it is flush with both sides of the tool.
Pre-applied glue or tape insures your layer stays perfectly positioned.
If you have cut your layer to leave 1/4" around all sides, line up the second
etched line with the two edges. 3/8" border is the third line, etc.
The same steps are followed for succeeding layers, except you will re-align
your tool each time with the layer you just applied.
The Perfect Layering Tool is not just for Rectangular Layers. Use it with all of your
favorite layering shapes such as Ovals, Circles, Diamonds, and Squares.
The Perfect Layering Tool also aids you in placing images and embellishments
a precise distance from the edge of your work for a balanced design.
