Evo's "Twofer" and "Oh, Wow!" techniques

"Twofer" Leaves
Supplies:
Set/7 Rectangle EvoTemplates, Natural EvoCork Paper, Dark Blue Cardstock,
Natural EvoCork-Paper, Enchanted Ink Paper
EvoRubber Die Plate #42 (Leaves), Silhouette EvoStencil #42
3/8" L'il Blues, Document Black Ink Pad, Memories Primary Rainbow Pad,
Exacto Knife, Sailor 2 in One Glue Pen, LeeHo Glue Stick

Cut two Base cards from Cardstock, plus one Front card from EvoCork Paper around largest Rectangle EvoTemplate (5.5" x 4.25"). Plus, tear an interesting shape of Enchanted Ink Paper.

Glue Enchanted Ink Paper on Cork Sheet with LeeHo Glue Stick.

Stamp Leaves and Stencil in Color using Stencil #42 with Li'l Blues, then offset stencil to create shadows with darker color. Cut around 4 more of the Rectangle EvoTemplates and place every other rectangle on your two blue cardstock base cards.

TwoFer Leaves Card #1 This card is finished simply by gluing the rectangles down with Sailor 2 in Glue Pen.

Twofer Leaves Card #2 Glue Rectangles down with Glue Pen. Stamp another leaf on another piece of cardstock and mount on front. Voila! Your 2nd finished card.

Twofer Butterfly Card #1 The butterfly stamp is from EvoRubber Die Plate #63 and EvoStencil #63. Cut 2 Base Cards using the Largest Regular Rectangle (5.5" x 4.25"). Cut front paper out with the Rectangle/Betweenies, starting with the largest (5.24" x 4") This leaves a border showing around your card.

Twofer Butterfly Card #2 The Center Butterfly is stamped and stencil-colored on the same EvoCork-Paper used on the front of the card. The "jewels" on the wings are Evo's Shimmer Sheen Dimensional Glue.

Twofer Borders Card #1 The Border EvoTemplates are used here in the same way as the Rectangles.

Twofer Borders Card #2 #69 Flower was stamped on Clear Acetate, paper painted with Enchanted Ink Papers and woven behind the Border strips.

"Oh, Wow! Card Samples
(Turning an "ok" card into an "Oh, Wow!" card by simply cutting between images)

Oh Wow Oval Card The BackGround is Evo's Shimmer Sheen scraped around with a flat tool (faux credit card works wonders), Enchanted Ink torn paper layered over it ... all done on Evo's White Matte Stamp & Peel. The Base card is cut out with Largest Rectangle...the front Stamp & Peel is cut out with Largest Rectangle Betweenie ... Two Ovals are used to create center Cut-outs... cutting between images only. #63 and #12A rubber dies and EvoStencils used.

Oh Wow Flowers Card Both Set/7 Rectangles & Set/6 Betweenies are used on this card ... again, cutting only between images. #69 Rubber Dies and EvoStencil were used. The front sheet is Birch EvoCork-Paper, and the "jeweling" on the flowers are Evo's Shimmer Sheen.

Oh Wow Turtle Card Both Diamond and Diamond Betweenies were used to get the narrower cut-outs. Turtle and Butterfly are from Rubber Die Plate #64.

The Nestling Rectangular/Octagons were used for cut outs. #63 Fish and EvoStencils were used for images.
